Chipped or Broken Tooth

Whether from an accident or biting something hard, we'll assess the damage and discuss your options.

Swelling & Infection

Swelling, tenderness, or signs of infection should be assessed promptly.

FAQ

What is considered a dental emergency?

Severe toothaches, broken or knocked-out teeth, swelling, and lost fillings or crowns are common reasons to seek urgent dental care.

Can I book a same-day emergency appointment?

We do our best to accommodate emergency appointments as quickly as possible. Same-day availability depends on our schedule, so please call us directly.

What should I do if I knock out a tooth?

Handle the tooth by the crown, not the root. If it’s a permanent tooth, gently rinse it if dirty, without scrubbing. Try to place it back in its socket. If that isn’t possible, keep it in milk and seek immediate dental attention.

Can I book an emergency appointment if I’m a new patient?

Absolutely. We welcome both new and existing patients for emergency dental appointments.

How much does an emergency dental visit cost?

Fees depend on the examination, any necessary X-rays, and the treatment required. We’ll explain the costs and discuss your options before proceeding.

Does dental insurance cover emergency visits?

Many dental insurance plans cover emergency examinations and certain treatments, but coverage varies. Our team can help you understand your benefits.
